Das "Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium 2011" fand von 22. bis 26. Juni im Bellagio in Las Vegas statt.
Herr Professor Hönig war mit einem Vortrag "Sub–Periosteal Vertical Midface Lifting" vetreten.
Vorgestellt wurde eine neue Technik zur Anhebung des Mittelgesichtes, die ohne Schnitte vor dem Ohr und ohne weitere sichtbare Narben auskommt. Diese Technik fand großen Anklang unter den 1500 Fachärzten für Plastische Chirurgie, die an dem internationalen Ästhetisch-Chirurgischen Fachkongress teilnahmen.
